Rhubarb The current production of rhubarb for Farm Fresh PO is concentrated in Herefordshire. 12.5 tonnes of rhubarb was produced by Farm Fresh PO in 2011, in a season running from early April to late June.

Whilst our production is early, our farm location means that it is not forced as it would have to be further north, and is a crop with great potential for increased tonnage over the next few years.

Current varieties of rhubarb grown include Timperley Early, Dawe’s Champagne and Goliath.
