Currants Farm Fresh PO members produced 30 tonnes of blackcurrants and 50 tonnes of redcurrants during 2010.

The current production takes place on our farms in Kent, although an extensive blackcurrant breeding programme is also underway in Scotland. Farm Fresh PO grow Big Ben, Ben Conan, Ben Lomand and Ben Maia varieties of blackcurrant, and Roveda redcurrants.
