Gooseberries All our gooseberries are currently grown in Kent on two of our member farms.

In 2010, Farm Fresh PO produced 60 tonnes of cooking gooseberries and 5 tonnes of dessert gooseberries.

Invicta, the main cooking variety, is chosen for its resistance to mildew and excellent cropping. Xenia and Leveller are the two dessert varieties grown, with more plantings of Xenia planned for the 2012 season.
